Overview
BNB Chain (formerly Binance Smart Chain) is a decentralized blockchain optimized for low fees, high throughput, and compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). This makes it easy for developers to deploy Ethereum-based dApps at a lower cost. It hosts a large ecosystem of DeFi protocols, games, and consumer apps, powered by the BNB token for fees and governance.
